A video of P Diddy having an awkward encounter with Justin Bieber has been unearthed online.
Justin Bieber, then 17, is standing next to P Diddy in the video, but fans have called it ‘creepy’ years later. The now 54-year-old celebrity was standing next to the teen, and while out of context, seems to show an awkward interaction between them. But the longer version of the clip has been doing the rounds online for years. They were joking and promoting Diddy’s upcoming album at the time – Last Train to Paris – which was released in 2010.
P Diddy and Justin Bieber video goes viral
The video, which appears to show P Diddy and Justin Bieber in a music studio, starts with the older star confronting the teenager heartthrob.
He says: “You starting to act different, huh? You ain’t been calling me or hanging out how we used to hang out.”
Biebs then stutters as he tries to answer, saying he tried to contact Diddy by having ‘his people contact his people’.
The then 17-year-old then explains the rapper never had his number and offered to give it to him so they can keep in touch. Throughout the exchange, Diddy has his arms crossed while Bieber appears nervous.
“He was obviously uncomfortable and trying to be nice in this moment but clearly didn’t know what to say. He was just a kid,” one user wrote.
“Super sketchy.” another wrote.
A third added: “This is a creepy video. Justin seems nervous around him.”
While someone else said: “Justin seems so uncomfortable, this is so disturbing.”
But fans also came to Diddy’s defense, highlighting it’s pulled out of context and is going viral years later.
They said: “Nothing whatsoever at all happened in this video!!!!! A young man and a much older, more successful person. What is the problem?”
Another clip of 15-year-old singer goes viral
The second clip went viral a day after another resurfaced, where P Diddy – real name Sean Combs – and Justin Bieber talk about ‘getting some girls’ with the Baby singer being 15 at the time.
In the video, first shared onto Bieber’s YouTube back in 2009, the Love Yourself hitmaker and Diddy are in the middle of spending 48 hours together.
The star refuses to reveal what they’re up to, but they talk about getting ‘some girls’.
We see P Diddy show off his Lamborghini to Justin Bieber and says he can have the car when he turns 16, as well as his mansion at 18.
Diddy says in the clip: “You ever seen the movie 48 Hrs? Right now [Justin is] having 48 hours with Diddy, him and his boy.
“They’re having the times of their lives.”
The Late Night Rapper adds: “Where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose. But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.
“I have been given custody of him.
“You know, he’s signed to Usher, and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album. I did Usher’s first album.”
“For the next 48 hours, he’s with me. And we’re gonna go full. Buck full crazy,” he continues.
He then asks Bieber what he wants to do in the next two days, who says: “Let’s just go get some girls”.
Diddy then hugs him, who says, “that’s what I’m talking about”.
